KYRS – Dr. Kim Talks

“Dr. Kim Talks” is Spokane’s locally produced public health radio program underwritten by Northwest Collaborative Care. The show airs the second and fourth Thursday at noon on KYRS-FM 92.3, and repeats the following Wednesday at 6AM. Produced and hosted by Dr. Kim Thorburn, the bi-weekly commentary and interview program covers public health issues, locally and globally. Dr. Kim has covered topics such as drinking water protection, HIV/AIDS, the H1N1 virus, SIDS, substance abuse prevention and youth, sexual assault, homelessness and health, mental health, the West Nile virus and mosquito control for human health, to name a few.  She is hosting an upcoming series of talks on Parkinson’s disease underwritten by Northwest Collaborative Care:
